What is ENeeda?

 

ENeeda is a community web post and service broker for small business owners.  As a community web post we provide low cost professional web hosting to entrepreneurs and small businesses.  As a broker we try to connect entrepreneurs with paying customers.

These customers and service providers need ENeeda.  ENeeda is a service which seeks world class service providers to meet customers' needs . 

 

Our goal is to unite customers with talented artisans in an environment which is safe and secure.  Clients can book services.  Small business owners or craftsman can provide the services and be paid for their labor.

 

How are you paid for a job?

Customers pay in advance to ENeeda for a job.  The money is held by ENeeda.  The customer is given payment codes.  Upon completion of the job (or as certain milestones are met for special job classifications), the customer will release a payment code to the service provider.  The service provider will login to ENeeda and submit the payment code.  ENeeda through Paypal will send the provider the money.  It's just that simple.  It's a safe transaction.

 

How do you sign up for ENeeda?  

First you have to get past the "legalese".  This type of medium has regulatory rules it must follow particularly to fulfill tax requirements.  Vendors are all treated as 1099 and income is reported accordingly.  It looks scary but it necessary information that you should know about if you are going to be a provider.  It discusses fees and legal representations, so please read it and download a copy for your records. How do you prevent customers from not paying for the services?

Our policy is 100% customer satisfaction.  If a customer does not like the service, they will be refunded their money.  However, customers as well as service providers will be ranked.  Abuses by either side will eliminate the use of ENeeda by rogue customers or service providers.  For large and expensive jobs, ENeeda tries to stagger payment to several milestones.  Thus, the service provider may be paid 1/3, 1/4, 1/2 etc. of the total money once milestones are met.

 

 

Are there any fees to register with ENeeda?

Registration for broker services is free, but ENeeda does collect a small fee per job to cover transaction fees, hosting, advertising and overhead.  We intend this to be a national service, so we will be aggressively advertising ENeeda.

 

 

Are there any fees to use ENeeda?

 

 

For registering with Eneeda there is no fee.  However, we do offer some packages like professional web site hosting that have fees.

 

For a professional web site, there is a $30 setup fee and a $15.00 per month hosting fee.  This fee includes one monthly upload performed by ENeeda to update your site.  Additional uploads are available for a cost. 

 

Another service is offered is service brokering.  ENeeda can advertise your services to customers.  When you are ready to book a job, ENeeda will charge a customer  a non-refundable $5.95. The customer pays for the price of the job fully at the time of booking.  If the customer is not satisfied or the job is not completed, the customer will be refunded the total amount of the job.

 

Why does fixed pricing make sense?

Brokerage pricing sells your services at a fixed rate.  Fixed rate pricing is the best for small companies to make a profit.  The automobile repair industry moved to this model because it is the best way for everyone to make a profit.  Mechanics are given a published price list and they receive a percentage of that job, when it is completed. 

 

If you are not using fixed rate pricing you are probably using cost plus or an hourly rate basis.  Cost plus requires itemizing the job and encourages customers to shop the job to find cheaper labor quotes or someone charging less for materials.  Hourly basis pricing encourages inefficient work habits.  There is no incentive for workers to complete the job as quickly as possible.  Also, if the job is scheduled late in the day, it is only human nature to make the job last until the end of the day, allowing for no additional jobs to be scheduled.  Customers become irritated thinking that job is lasting too long, reducing the possibility of repeat business.  A customer understands what they are paying for with a fixed price.  The handyman or consultant understands that they have to work efficiently to make a profit on the job.    Eneeda is trying to help small businesses and entrepreneurs begin competing on jobs in a manner which eliminates haggling, inefficient practices and nonpayment.

 

Why does ENeeda make sense?

ENeeda charges a fee for all successful jobs.  This fee is only incurred if you get a job.  For an entrepreneur like a handyman to be successful in business, they have to perform several business operations to promote their business, quote jobs, book jobs and process payements:

 

Marketing and Advertising Expenses: 8-10%

Office Staff to book and quote jobs: 4-8%

Professional Office: 1-2%

Credit Card Charges:  3%                           

Total Fees:  16% to 23%

 

Theses fees are incurred whether you have booked a job or not.  ENeeda will advertise, book your jobs, pay processing fees, etc. without charging monthly fees.   You do not pay for anything until a job is booked and paid for by the customer.  Eneeda's service fee is deducted from the customer's payment.  You can begin to book jobs now without immediately incurring monthly fees, rents, advertising fees, service charges, or monthly charges.

 

I have not been ranked.  How do I improve my chances of getting selected?

Your company description is key to customers trusting you to perform a needed service.  The description should be specific about the services that you offer.  It is also good to include certifications that you hold, years in business, particular expertise, any special offers or additional services that you are offering in the pricing, etc.  An example of a good description is:

 

My company has a PE in civil engineering specializing in overhanging structures.  We also have expertise in architecture and high rise structures.

 

Or:

 

I have been baking for 10 years specializing in Italian Cream and Red Velvet cakes, Sweet Potato Pies and soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies.

 

Or:

 

Let me cater your affair.  We can provide Italian, French or Mexican cuisines.  We have been catering for over 5 years.  We can add that special touch for weddings, banquets or church events. Our prices include the rental of food warmers, plates, utensils and glassware.
